Quaking Aspen

(Populus tremuloides)  We lived in Idaho for many years, and “Quakies” are a common site in the mountains. In the fall, the beautiful yellow leaves “quake” in the wind. We read they would do well in wet spots, so we gave them a try.

  They aren’t really practical, but they are really pretty. And everyone needs a reminder of that special place.
