Wild Rose

This Wild Rose selection is noted for its especially large hips, which are edible—and a good source of Vitamin C. And if you know someone named “Rose” who has large hips… well, it’s just a coincidence.

• Location
  If you are on our property, you will see one massive wild rose that just grew on its own. So we figured this must be a good spot for roses, and planted our two large-hip roses nearby (to the south).
