Willow

Willows are among the fastest-growing trees and that makes them fun. They like wet soil, so they’re perfect for certain parts of the farm. We’re growing four different varieties: red, yellow, purple, and corkscrew (not weeping!).

• Uses
  In theory, willows have biomass value because they create so much vegetation so quickly. Plus they have ornamental uses. Our Uncle Wayne used to make life-sized deer from willow branches.
